Our Story

 

Kishor’s story began in Dar-es-Salaam, where he and his family spent Sundays doing charitable work among underprivileged communities. This first-hand awareness of the value of opportunity, along with his natural curiosity, led him to explore medicine, business, and aviation, obtaining his MD, MBA and pilot’s license. His varied career has found him running distillation and purification facilities, as well as an edible oil production venture. At Kilimanjaro Distillery, he comes full circle, using his love of science to carefully craft small batch spirits in Allentown, where the distillery helps diversify and revitalize the local economy. 

 

Niky’s journey has been fueled by a passion for bringing together people of diverse backgrounds to make the world a richer place.She’s explored the nature of connection and collaboration, and its power to drive meaningful change. Her work has led her around the globe and across disciplines, with contributions in global health and social entrepreneurship.

Because she knows that every choice we make impacts people and the environment everywhere, a percentage of all profits from Xplorer Spirits is used to provide clean drinking water to communities in need through the Tanzania Water Project and to the local Meals on Wheels Pennsylvania community. The Chokshi family believes everyone’s life is a unique journey to be savored through genuine experiences and meaningful connections.


Xplorer Spirits is our tribute to fellow adventurers. Our grain to glass process uses as much local and American sourced products as possible. Our spirits are distilled to a high level of purity, ensuring a great experience in the glass. Everything we do is infused with a spirit of discovery and a commitment to creating the finest spirits the world can offer, to be enjoyed with good friends, wherever life takes you. All our products are VEGAN certified except for the Honey Bourbon Liqueur.
